The 10th IACAT conference will take place in São Paulo, Brazil at the iconic FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo) building. Located in the heart of Avenida Paulista, it is a landmark of São Paulo architecture and a vibrant hub of culture and business. Known for its distinctive triangular façade, which stands out in the urban landscape, the building was inaugurated in 1979 and houses not only the Federation’s offices but also important cultural spaces open to the public. Its strategic location on São Paulo’s most famous avenue makes it a reference point and a hub for diverse activities, connecting the industrial world with the city’s cultural life. It is next to the Trianon metro station, on the Green Line 2, and a 5-minute walk from the São Paulo Museum of Art.

Airport Information
São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is the main international gateway to the city of São Paulo and the busiest airport in South America. Located in the city of Guarulhos, about 25-30 km from the conference venue and São Paulo’s downtown, it offers numerous direct and connecting flights to major destinations worldwide, ensuring convenient access for international participants.
Transportation from GRU Airport
São Paulo offers various transportation options, including an extensive bus network, a comprehensive metro and commuter train system, widespread taxi services, and popular ride-hailing apps like Uber, providing convenient ways to navigate the city.
Taxi (USD $20 – $30): At GRU, there are official taxi services (like Guarucoop) that offer fixed prices from the airport to destinations in São Paulo, including Avenida Paulista. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 all have taxi counters/stands right outside the arrivals area.
Uber (USD $15 – $35): You can request an Uber ride in the Uber app after you land and collect your luggage. The driver will pick you up at an official rideshare pickup area at the airport. Each terminal has a designated rideshare pickup zone usually next to the departures or car parking area designated by Uber
Executive Bus (USD $7 – $10): Airport Bus Service is an airport shuttle bus that goes from the airport terminals to key points in São Paulo, including Paulista Avenue. Check the exact stop list when buying a ticket
Train (USD $1 – $3): Take the Airport Express train from the Airport Station to Luz Station. Transfer to Metro Line 4–Yellow to Paulista/Consolação, then change to Line 2–Green and get off at Trianon-Masp station, right next to the Centro Cultural FIESP on Paulista Av.
